
Germann Named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar

NORMAN, Okla. – Rising senior men's golfer David Germann has been selected as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar, the organization announced Wednesday.
A native of Clayton, N.C., Germann ranked third on the team in stroke average (75.64) during his junior season. He helped the Spiders to a second-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships, finishing in a tie for fifth individually with a career-best score of 215 (-1) over three rounds.
As a business administration major, Germann is a high achiever in the classroom after already earning Atlantic 10 All-Academic honors earlier this spring.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
