UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond men's golf coach Adam Decker has announced the Spiders' 2015-16 competition schedule.
Decker enters his 11th season at Richmond after leading the Spiders to a runner-up finish at last year's Atlantic 10 Championship.
UR returns three of its five golfers from the conference tournament, including A-10 Freshman of the Year Matthew Lowe. Lowe finished second overall at the conference championships, while rising senior David Germann also shot under-par over three rounds for a top-10 finish.
UR's fall season will see the Spiders teeing off up and down the east coast, starting with the Marshall Invitational in West Virginia on Sept. 14-15. Richmond returns to the AutoTrader Collegiate in Duluth, Ga., followed by the Georgetown Intercollegiate in Beallsville, Md., on Oct. 19-20.
The fall wraps up at Kiawah's Turtle Point golf course in the annual Wendy's Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern.
Richmond jumps right into spring competition at the Atlantic 10 Match Play Championship at the Weston Hills Golf Course in Florida on Feb. 22-23.
Competition continues in Florida just a few weeks later at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
UR tunes up for the conference championship with tournaments at UNCW and N.C. State on March 20 and April 16, respectively.
This year's Atlantic 10 Championship will take place at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla., on April 29-May 1.
