Hokie Invite Canceled Due to Snow Storm Jonas

RICHMOND, VA. - The Richmond women's indoor track & field meet scheduled for the weekend of January 22nd-23rd has been canceled due to the approaching snow storm Jonas.
The impending snow storm will be hitting the Virginia on Friday morning and has been projected to reach upwards of 20 inches of snow in parts of the western Virginia, including Blacksburg, where the meet was set to take place.
The Spiders have competed in two events so far this season, the first meet of the season came at the CNU Invite in December followed by the first meet of the new year at the Art and Mallet Invite on January 16th.
The Spiders will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Huntington, West Virginia to compete in the Thundering Herd Invitational and Mulit.
