Andrew Sciarretta Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Richmond men's golf freshman Andrew Sciarretta has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Sciarretta shot +3 (219) at the AutoTrader.com Collegiate at the beginning of the week. It marked his best tournament score of his young career as he placed 43rd overall in the field.
A native of Wilton, Conn., Sciarretta carded a 67 (-5) in his second round for his best career round, one that tied for eighth-best in school history.
The Spiders have now won an Atlantic 10 Weekly Award after all three tournaments that they've competed in this fall.
