Lowe Paces Spiders With Under-Par Tournament

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Richmond sophomore Matthew Lowe shot -1 for the tournament to pace Richmond to a seventh-place finish in the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular from Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
Lowe tied for fifth overall, as he shot 72-67-76=215 (-1) for the tournament. His second round 67 was just one stroke short of his career record which he set at last year's A-10 championship.
Senior David Germann also turned in an under-par round as he finished in the top 20 with a three-day score of 76-71-74=221 (+5).
Junior Keegan Hoff shot 74-75-76=225 (+9) and Mark Reilly turned in a card of 79-78-74=231 (+15).
John David Sanderson finished at +28 and Jason Park competed as an individual, shooting +27.
Richmond continues spring competition next weekend at Wilmington, N.C., for the UNCW Collegiate.
