Zack Justice Medals In U.S. Amateur Qualifying Tournament

NAPLES, Fla. - Incoming Spider freshman Zack Justice turned in an outstanding performance this week, taking first place in the USGA Qualifying Tournament for the U.S. Amateur Championship.
Playing in Eagle Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., Justice shot a 68-70=138 to earn the first place medal in the 41-player field.
Justice won one of the two qualifying tournaments for the 2016 U.S. Amateur Championship which will be held at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., on Aug. 15-21.
A native of Orlando, Fla., Justice was the 2014 Metro West Conference Champion and District Champion while finishing fifth at the AAA FHSAA State Championship. He earned All-Conference honors in 2014 and 2015, and won the Metro West Conference championship again in 2015.
Justice was the 2013 runner-up in the Florida State Junior Amateur Match Play competition, and won the 2015 Florida Junior Tour at Timacuan GC Championship title.
He joins a Spider squad that has had an NCAA Regional participant in three of the last four seasons.
