Keegan Hoff Named Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Richmond senior golfer Keegan Hoff was named the Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Hoff shot a round of 6-under par 66 on Tuesday to finish out the Janney VCU Shootout. The round featured seven birdies and tied for the fourth-best round in school history.
Hoff finished the rain-shortened tournament at 6-under par to tie for 11th overall. His 12 birdies in the tournament were the second-most in the 80-player field.
He led Richmond to a seventh-place finish, as the Spiders shot 9-under as a team in the final round. It marked the second-best team round in school history.
The award marks the first Golfer of the Week honor for Hoff, after he won two Rookie of the Week honors in 2013-14.
