Fuller Named Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly men's golf awards on Friday afternoon and University of Richmond freshman Stuart Fuller has been chosen as the Rookie of the Week following a stellar debut performance at the Autotrader Intercollegiate earlier this week.
The Winston-Salem, N.C. native began the event with a  +2, 74 then followed it up with a 78 before closing with a  +1, 73 to finish in a tie for 45th overall. His final round helped secure the lowest round of any team on the final day as the Spiders surged into 11th place among the highly touted field. Richmond was the only team to go under-par during that final round.
The Spiders now turn their attention to a match with Yale on Saturday (Oct. 21) in Owings Mills, Md. at Caves Valley Golf Club.
