4x800m Relay Team Breaks School Record at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - In one of the most iconic and largest track meets, the Spiders' 4x800m relay team shattered the program record. The team of Maria Acosta, Marisa Ruskan, Brooke Fazio and Haley Preschutti turned in a time of 8:44.32 en route to the new school record.Â
The team placed sixth overall, finishing behind Villanova, who took first at 8:19.98, Indiana, Monmouth, Penn, and Vanderbilt.Â
Richmond returns to action next weekend at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship. The championship will be held at George Mason in Fairfax. Action begins on Saturday, May 6.Â
