
Spiders Earn All-Academic Team Honors

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The Spiders men's golf team has been named one of Division I's All-Academic Teams by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The honor, which requires a team to have a combined GPA of 3.0 or better, was earned by a record 222 collegiate men's golf programs in 2018.Â
2018 is the second time in three years that Richmond has been one of the GCAA's All-Academic Teams after the Spiders were one of 212 teams honored in 2016. The Spiders were also named a GCAA All-Academic Team each year from 2010 through 2014.Â

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
