HOWLEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Sophomore Michael Baker carded a three-over score of 75 in Sunday's final round of the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular to finish the event tied for 25th at five-over par (221) in the field of 108 golfers.

Baker, who recorded his third top-25 finish of the season, bounced back from an opening-hole bogey on the 11th Sunday with back-to-back birdies on holes 14 and 15 before playing his final 10 holes in four-over par to finish with a final-round 75.

Freshman Michael Childress turned in the lowest round of the day for the Spiders, offsetting four bogeys with four birdies en route to an even-par 72, an eight-shot improvement over his 80 (+8) in the second round. Childress moved 18 spots up the leaderboard on Sunday, finishing tied for 57th.

As a team, Richmond finished 14th in the 17-team field with a 54-hole team total of 910 (+46). The Spiders will next compete at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate at the MacGregor Downs Country Club in Kannapolis, N.C. on April 12-13.
