KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- Junior Zack Justice shot back-to-back rounds of even-par 71 Saturday at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate and is tied for 19th entering Sunday's final round. Justice, who finished in a tie for 13th at the Mobile Intercollegiate in February, is in position to record his second top-20 finish in his last three events.

"Zack had a nice day," said coach Adam Decker. "He was very even-keeled all day - never let the roller coaster of emotions this game brings out get him too high or too low."

Justice birdied his first hole of the day, the par-four seventh, on Saturday morning, one of the three birdies he recorded in the first round. Saturday afternoon, Justice birdied two of his final three holes in his second round to get back to even par for the event.

At 142 (E), Justice is three shots clear of his closest teammate. Sophomore Michael Baker is tied for 49th in the field at 145 (+3) and junior Andrew Sciarretta is tied for 58th at 146 (+4).

As a team, the Spiders are in 13th place in the 16-team field with a 36-hole total of 581 (+13). The even will conclude on Sunday, with the third and final round beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM.
