2019 Spider Fan Fest & Movie Night Set for August 8th

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond athletic department will host its annual Fan Fest & Movie Night on Thursday, August 8th at Robins Stadium. This year's event will feature Spider student-athletes, coaches, and "The Incredibles 2" being shown on the videoboard at Robins Stadium and will be presented by Virginia Family Dentistry.
The annual event will be the first time Spider fans will be able to access the new AstroTurf at Robins Stadium. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., with fun activities for the family including playing outdoor games with Spider student-athletes and coaches, a face painter, balloon artist and inflatables. The movie will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair to enjoy the movie from the field. Cash-only concessions will be available. No outside food or beverage will be allowed inside the stadium.
Also at the event, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for the Spiderlings Kids Club presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. The Spiderlings Kids Club is the best deal in town for our young Spider fans giving them access to exclusive giveaways, interactions ith our student-athletes, and much more throughout the year! Memberships are available for children in 8th grade and under at a cost of only $5. Benefits to being a member include:
• Free admission to select football and men's basketball games – over 50% of games for each sport!
• Free admission to ALL women's basketball and men's lacrosse games
• A free Spiderlings t-shirt and membership card
• Access to exclusive giveaways and other special events
