Black History Month Spider Spotlight - Ebony Tanner Moore

RICHMOND, Va. – In honor of Black History Month, the University of Richmond athletics department will be conducting interviews with former Spiders from the Black community during the month of February in a new series called, Black History Month Spider Spotlight.
Former women's basketball student-athlete and current Spider Leadership Development Intern Jaide Hinds-Clarke will be holding one-on-one interviews with selected members of the Black community. The first installment of the Spider Spotlight is with former women's basketball student-athlete Ebony Tanner Moore.
Tanner Moore was a four-year letterwinner for the Spiders from 1999-2003, including the 2003 WNIT team that advanced to the third round. She scored over 1,000 points and grabbed over 500 rebounds in her career. Tanner Moore is currently the head coach at Saint Augustine University, an HBCU in North Carolina. She also spent seven years as an assistant coach at Richmond while making stops at Shaw and Hartford.
