Woods Named A-10 Field Performer of the Week

Newport News, Va.— The University of Richmond's Kayla Woods (Wilmington, Del.) was named Atlantic 10 Field Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Woods leaped for a new PR of 5.99m (19-7.75) in the long jump at Liberty University's Brant Tolsma Invitational Friday. With the leap, she broke her own school record of 5.97m (19-7.00) set last season. Her mark ranks first in the Atlantic 10, seventh in ECAC/IC4A, and 43rd nationally.
