What inspires you to give to the Spider Athletic Fund?
Pat and I have loved being involved with Spider Athletics. As students, Richmond changed our lives for the better and we will never be able to repay that. I was mentored by Coaches Hooker, Hardy, Humbert and sports medicine director McNeil. They guided me as they knew I wanted to coach as a profession.
What was your favorite moment working for Spider athletics?
My favorite moments while an employee of the athletic department was the relationships that I built with the student-athletes both in 1978 and in 2001.
If you could have dinner with one Spider student-athlete or coach from the past or present who would it be and why?
The two former athletes that Pat and I would enjoy having dinner with would be Aaron Corp and T.J. Cline who we knew prior to enrolling at Richmond.
If you could give a current student-athlete one piece of advice, what would it be?
Enjoy every day at Richmond and stay connected after graduation! In later years, your enjoyment will become even more important.
If you were speaking to other alumni or fans, why would you encourage them to also support the Spider Athletic Fund?
Stay involved by giving and attending games as the rewards are great!
