Page Farmer Named Assistant AD for Annual Giving

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Athletics has named Page Farmer its new Assistant Athletics Director for Annual Giving, the department announced Monday. Farmer joins Richmond after spending the previous four years at Duke University in a variety of advancement roles.
With the Spiders, Farmer will oversee the management and strategic planning of Richmond Athletics' annual giving efforts, with the aim of supporting the Athletics Annual Fund as well as discretionary funds for each Spider sports team.
In her previous role, Farmer managed Duke's athletic scholarship endowment process, which supports more than 400 annual scholarships for the Blue Devils. She also helped to develop communications around the university's annual giving day and supervised the Iron Dukes team of student employees.
Farmer, a former Division I lacrosse player at Longwood University, has been involved in athletics throughout her postgraduate career. From 2010 to 2019 she held various coaching roles at Richmond's St. Catherine's School, assisting with the field hockey and basketball programs and heading the school's junior varsity lacrosse team. She has also served as a boxing coach for Rock Steady Boxing, an organization that works to improve the quality of life for individuals with Parkinson's disease through fitness training.
Farmer received her bachelor's degree with a concentration in biology from Longwood and also holds a master's degree in sports management from Liberty University.
Farmer has served as both Lancer Club Athletic Advisory Board member at Longwood and has been on the board at Sportable RVA, an adaptive sports nonprofit.

Since September 2021, Farmer has worked for Duke University's Iron Dukes Annual Fund, rising from Assistant Director of the Iron Dukes Varsity Club to Associate Director of the Iron Dukes Annual Fund and Stewardship, a position she ascended to in July 2024.
