Dunbar Earns Fourth Straight A-10 All-Conference First Team Nod

RICHMOND, Va. – To close out her legendary collegiate tennis career, University of Richmond's Emily Dunbar has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team for the fourth straight time.
Dunbar, a graduate student from Medina, Ohio, was named Co-Performer and Rookie of the Year along with A-10 All-Conference First Team after her freshman campaign in 2018. She went on to earn All-Conference First Team honors in 2019, 2021, and now again in 2022.
Playing all matches at the No. 1 singles spot, Dunbar finished the season 9-7 overall and 5-2 in conference action. She went 5-2 in her last seven matches of the season with her only losses coming to William & Mary and VCU. Dunbar helped the Spiders advance in the A-10 Tournament with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Duquesne's Margot Pessy.
In doubles action this year, Dunbar paired with Sara Salemyr at the No. 1 spot and the duo went 4-2 in conference play, including a win over VCU's top duo in the regular season. Dunbar and Salemyr also took down Duquesne's and VCU's top duo in the A-10 Tournament.
