Swimming & Diving Finishes Fourth at Patriot Invite

Fairfax, Va. – The University of Richmond swimming and diving program finished fourth at the Patriot Invite with a 483-point tally.
Alexa Connors started the evening off strong with a fifth place finish in the 1650 free at 17:29.85. Megan Carson (7th place – 17:41.40) and Natalie Stuart (8th place – 17:41.67) finished shortly after Connors.
Caroline Weldon was a bright spot for Richmond in the 200 back as she took the fifth place finish at 2:01.27.
Emma Martin had success in the 200 fly as she raced a 2:05.33 for sixth.
The team rounded out their week of competition with a sixth place finale in the 400 free relay as Melissa Nwakalor, Lucy Yeomans, Julia Krichev and Caitlyn Hughes finished at 3:28.70.
