Stockman and Trippett Selected to A-10 All-Academic Team

Richmond, Va. - University of Richmond senior's Elizabeth Stockman and Madison Trippett have been named to the Atlantic 10 Cross Country All-Academic team, announced by the conference Friday.
Student-athletes selected to the All-Academic team have to be of sophomore status and carry a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Stockman, a Health Studies major, finished in 4th place at the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships with a mark of 21:06.7. She earned First Team All-Conference honors with her impressive performance. The Rocky Hill, Conn. native opened the 2023 cross country season with a 3rd place finish in the 4K at the Spider Alumni Open with a personal best of 13:15.6.

Trippett, a Biology and Psychology double major, finished in 5th place at the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships with a mark of 21:09.4. She earned First Team All-Conference honors as well. The Parkersburg, W.Va. native had a successful trip to the XC23 Pre-Nationals with a mark of 20:58.2 to claim 4th place in the 6K.

Stockman and Trippett look to continue their senior season success in the 2023-2024 track & field season. They will travel to the Virginia Tech Invitational from January 12-13 for their next competition.
