Trippett Named A-10 Track Performer of the Week

Richmond, Va. – Madison Trippett has been named this week's Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week announced by the conference Tuesday.
Trippett earns this honor after her performance at the Liberty Kickoff on Friday as the Spiders traveled to Lynchburg, Va. to compete. The senior from Parkersburg, W.Va. took the first-place finish in the 3K with a mark of 9:36.94. With this performance, she leads the A-10, is 7th in the region, and ranks 39th nationally in the event. The early success has earned Trippett a qualifying mark for the ECAC Championships in March.
Up next, Trippett and the Spiders will travel to Blacksburg, Va. for the Virginia Tech Invitational from January 12-13.
