Coll Named Top Offensive Lineman In Virginia By Touchdown Club Of Richmond

Richmond, Va. — Redshirt senior team captain Ryan Coll has been named Offensive Lineman of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Richmond, a sports-social organization based in the capital city that honors the top players in the Commonwealth of Virginia each year.
This season, Coll helped the Spiders rank second in the CAA in completion percentage as quarterback Kyle Wickersham ranked second country in completion percentage at .726 with Coll in front of him. Richmond's redzone offense was second in the CAA at 0.867 percent and the Spiders averaged 28.2 points per game this season. Richmond was fourth in the CAA and 19th nationally in first downs with Coll's offensive line leading the way.
Coll appeared in a total of 50 games for the Spiders, making 44 starts including the last 36 games of his career. He was named First Team All-CAA for the second in his career in 2023 after also earning it in 2022.
He is the only FCS player to earn an honor from the Touchdown Club of Richmond this year.
The honored players will be recognized during the broadcast of the Dudley and Lanier Awards presentation, scheduled for Saturday, December 9. This awards broadcast, hosted by Lane Casadonte, will air on WTVR-TV6, the local CBS affiliate in Richmond. The awards show will air, following the national broadcast of the Army vs. Navy football game on CBS, which starts at 3:00 p.m.
