The Brass Tap To Host Behind The Web With Coach Huesman Beginning Thursday Sept. 7 Noon-1pm

A new location near campus, The Brass Tap, 4901 Libbie Mill E. Blvd, will host the weekly football radio show with Coach Russ Huesman. The live program will air Thursdays from Noon-1pm beginning September 7 on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, player guests and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying The Brass Tap's full food and drink menu. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.Â

The season premiere Thursday Sept. 7 will include a recap of the season opener against Morgan State and a preview of the Spiders' annual FBS game, a first-time trip to Michigan State of the Big 10 Conference.
Behind The Web will be held throughout the college football season on 11 consecutive Thursdays, including the Spiders' bye week. The program will be archived on richmondspiders.com and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com for on demand listening.
Behind The Web is a production of Spider Sports Properties from Playfly Sports and ESPN Richmond, the radio home of the Spiders for 18 consecutive years. In addition to The Brass Tap, Spider sponsors for the show are University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies, Luck Chevrolet, Bryant Heating and Cooling, Virginia529 and World of Beer.
