Aaron Trusler Joins Coach Huesman On Behind The Web At The Brass Tap Thursday Noon-1
09/18/2023 | Football, General, Spider Athletic Fund
The Spiders' "punter from down under," Australian Aaron Trusler will be the special player guest this Thursday, September 20, on Behind The Web with Coach Russ Huesman, at The Brass Tap, 4901 Libbie Mill E. Blvd. The live radio program will air from Noon-1pm on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.
Trusler perfected the long and short of it in last Saturday's victory over Delaware State, with a 33-yard punt downed at the one yard line by Chance Graves, and a 60 yarder in the third quarter, his third career punt of 60 yards or more. His career best is a 63 yard boot against Davidson in the first round of last year's FCS playoffs. Trusler is averaging 41 yards per punt this season and the Spiders are third in the CAA in net average at 39 yards per punt.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, Trusler and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying The Brass Tap's full food and drink menu. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.
