Megan Carson Named A-10 Swim & Dive Performer of the Week

Richmond, Va. – Megan Carson has been named this week's Atlantic 10 Swim & Dive Performer of the Week announced by the conference Tuesday.
Carson earns this honor after her performances on Thursday and Friday as the Spiders faced La Salle and Villanova. The senior from Apex, N.C. claimed three individual first places finishes in only five events on the week. Against La Salle, Carson found success in the 200 free as she claimed 1st place at 1:54.42. Matching up with the Wildcats of Villanova, she took the 1st place finish in the 1000 free at 10:28.54 and in the 500 free at 5:06.35.
Up next, Carson and the Spiders will host JMU on January 27 at the Robins Center.
