01/08/2024 | Men's Lacrosse
Richmond, Va. – With the season less than a month away, single game tickets for all eight University of Richmond men's lacrosse home games are on sale now.
In response to demand for past home games against highly-ranked teams and due to the popularity of the 2023 Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Championship hosted at Robins Stadium, Richmond Athletics will be ticketing for men's lacrosse games in 2024.
Ticket revenue will contribute to game day enhancements that will improve both the student-athlete and fan experience. Tickets are priced based on opponent and seat location.
With the help of fans, Richmond went a perfect 9-0 at home for just the second time in program history last season and will look to do the same against a challenging 2024 slate.
This year's schedule features four home matchups against four teams ranked in the USA Lacrosse Division I Men's Preseason Top 20 including No. 2 Duke (March 16), No. 3, Virginia (Feb. 17), No. 5 Maryland (Feb. 3) and No. 12 Georgetown (March 23), while the other four home games include non-conference contests against St. John's and Binghamton as well as Atlantic 10 conference games against Hobart and Saint Joseph's.
Richmond will begin its A-10 title-defending season against Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 4. The Terrapins last visited Robins Stadium in 2020 when they narrowly escaped the Spiders, 14-13, in double overtime.
Next, Virginia visits Robins Stadium Feb. 17. The last time Virginia visited Robins Stadium, Richmond shocked the lacrosse world with a 17-13 victory over the then second-ranked Cavaliers.
St. John's travels to Robins Stadium Feb. 24 in what will be the second-ever contest between the two teams after debuting the series last season when the Spiders won 11-8 in Queens, N.Y.
2023 national runner-up Duke makes its way to Richmond March 16 for the ninth contest in the series before Georgetown comes to Robins Stadium a week later on March 22.
April 6 sees the first conference home game for the Spiders when Hobart visits Robins Stadium. The teams met for the first time last season as members of the newly formed Atlantic 10. Richmond was victorious, coming out on top 20-15 against the Statesmen in Geneva, N.Y.
Finally, Richmond wraps the 2024 regular season home slate against conference opponent Saint Joseph's on April 27. The Spiders and Hawks have met three times before, most recently meeting in Philadelphia on April 1, 2023 during the first-ever Atlantic 10 men's lacrosse conference game.
Single game tickets to all eight home contests as well as season ticket packages can be purchased over the phone by calling 1-877-SPIDER-1, visiting the Robins Center Ticket Office or via online orders by clicking here.
