Coleman Collects CAA Offensive Player of the Week

Richmond, Va. — Sophomore quarterback Camden Coleman has been named the Coastal Athletic Association Football Offensive Player of the Week after he led the Spiders to their sixth straight victory with a 41-14 road victory over Bryant Saturday.
Coleman was 15-of-16 passing for 278 yards and four touchdowns while adding a fifth on the ground. Coleman had a four-yard rushing touchdown run in the first quarter before throwing touchdown passes from 60, 36, 15 and 16 yards in the second quarter to give the CAA-leading Spiders a 41-7 lead at half. His 322.2 pass efficiency rating and 93.8% completion percentage are the best in FCS this season.
Coleman and the Spiders are back home against Towson during Homecoming 2024 this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:00.
