Cade Salyers Joins Coach Huesman On Thursday's Behind The Web At Bar West

Veteran offensive lineman Cade Salyers will be the special player guest on this Thursday's Behind The Web with head coach Russ Huesman at Bar West, 5811 Grove Avenue. The live radio program will air from noon-1pm on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.Â
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, player guests and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying the full food and drink menu at Bar West, including their "Build Your Trio" lunch special. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.Â

Salyers, a grad student who began his career by playing in 11 games as a true freshman in 2019, is an integral part of a Spider offense that is fifth in the CAA in scoring (28.6 ppg), fourth in total offense (397.1 ypg) and second in rushing offense (195.9 ypg), while allowing only 12 quarterback sacks, the second fewest in the conference. The Kingsport, TN native has played in 49 games with 38 starts, despite missing all but two games last season due to an injury.
