Men's Golf Adds Lucas Rizo-Patron on Signing Day

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond men's golf announced the addition of Lucas Rizo-Patron to its 2025 signing class Saturday. Rizo-Patron, from Rye, N.Y., is currently slated to be the lone freshman on Richmond's 2025-26 roster.
Rizo-Patron owns five top-five finishes in American Junior Golf Association events, most recently a tie for 10th at the UHY Albany Junior in August. That followed his fourth-place finish in the stroke play at the 122nd Met Amateur Championship earlier in the month, a result that advanced him into the 16-golfer match play bracket.
Rizo-Patron attends Rye Neck High School, where he's also earned recognition for his academic performance. He is a member of both the National Honor Society and the AJGA Rolex Scholastic Honor Roll.
