Spiders Pick up key A-10 Victory Over George Mason Friday Afternoon at Home

RICHMOND, Va. – Daniel Kliebhan, Sebastian Miano and Dylan Atkinson posted huge singles victories as the University of Richmond men's tennis team picked up a key Atlantic 10 Conference win, 4-0, over visiting George Mason Friday afternoon at home. With the win, the Spiders improved to 12-7 and 5-1 in A-10 action while the Patriots fell to 7-11 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

How it Happened
The Spiders quickly got through doubles play, as Cole Brashear and Davis Wiley defeated Lotlikar/Simunyola (MASON), 6-3 on court one before Atkinson and Nick Roddy handled business on court three, downing Khan/Ha (MASON), 6-3 to clinch the doubles point.

In singles, Atkinson put Richmond up 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 rout over Fahim (MASON) on court five. Miano swept Khan (MASON) 6-0, 6-0 on court four for a 3-0 UR lead and Kliebhan clinched the match for the Spiders with a court one win over Lotlikar (MASON), 6-3, 6-3. Matches on courts two, three and six were left unfinished as Brashear led Postin (MASON), 6-2, 3-2 on court six and Wiley led Simunyola (MASON) 7-6, 2-1 on court three.
