Polin Earns A-10 Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. — Spiders freshman Quin Polin has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Friday. Polin was honored after tying for sixth among 81 golfers at this week's Wofford Intercollegiate with a 54-hole total of 1-over par (211).
Polin led all six Spiders in the event, helping Richmond to a third-place finish in the 13-team event. It was UR's second straight top-three finish after winning the Any Given Tuesday Collegiate in South Carolina earlier this month.
This is the second Rookie of the Week honor for Polin. He was also named A-10 Rookie of the Week on November 1 after tying for 16th at the Furman Intercollegiate in his college debut.
Polin and the Spiders will compete next on April 26-28 at the A-10 Men's Golf Championship at Grand Cypress Golf, located within the Evermore Resort in Orlando, Fla.
