Carson, Pennell, Yeomans and Klosterman Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Richmond, Va. – The University of Richmond swimming and diving program has the honor of highlighting four members Megan Carson, Katelyn Pennell, Lucy Yeomans and Carstyn Klostermanon the College Sports Communicators 2023-2024 Academic All-District team, announced Tuesday.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Carson rounded out her Richmond career with three bronze medals at the Atlantic 10 Championships in the 200 free, 400 free and 1650 free. Pennell found success at conference championships as well, bringing home the bronze medal in the 400 free relay alongside three of her Richmond teammates. Yeomans was a member of the 2nd place 200 free relay group at the Atlantic 10 Championships. She also took the bronze medal and 3rd place finish in the 400 free relay. Klosterman had two top-10 program performances through 2023-2024: No. 10 in the 100 back (55.48) and No. 5 in the 200 back (1:57.93).
