Stockman Named Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week for Fourth Time in 2024

Richmond, Va. -Â During the 2023-2024 indoor track & field season, Elizabeth Stockman was named the Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the week on January 30 and February 6. As the outdoor season approached, Stockman took the first conference Track Performer of the Week honors just last Wednesday, marking her third award of the year in a span of less than two months. The Richmond senior now has her fourth award of the year, dominating the conference in her respective events. She is this week's Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week.

At the historic Raleigh Relays, the reigning Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week found massive success in the 1500m with the 17th place finish amongst fifty-nine other competitors. Her mark and personal best of 4:19.59 ranks No. 2 all-time for the Spiders behind 2011 All-American Amy Van Alstine's 4:19.36. Stockman's performance currently ranks No. 1 in the Atlantic 10, No. 5 in the ECAC, No. 14 in the NCAA East Region and No. 15 in the NCAA nationally.

Up next, Stockman and her Spiders are set for a split weekend as a small group will attend the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational in Coral Gables, FL as the rest of the team will make the short trip to Williamsburg to compete at the Colonial Relays. Both meets run April 5-6.Â
