Spiders to Compete at ECAC/IC4A Championships This Weekend

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond track & field program will compete at the ECAC and IC4A Championships on May 11-12 at George Mason in Fairfax, Va.

Richmond won three medals at last year's event, as the 4 x 800 M relay team won gold, Madison Trippett won the 1,500 M, and Kyra Keurentjes finished runner-up in the 800 M.
The Spiders finished second at last week's Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship, their best result in the meet since 2007. Richmond captured 12 medals, including golds in the long jump (Molly Wise), 1,500 M (Elizabeth Stockman), 5,000 M (Madison Trippett), and 4 x 400 M relay. Wise, Stockman, and Trippett are among the 18 athletes scheduled to compete for the Spiders this weekend.
