
Lou Baker Named to All-Academic A-10 Men's Golf Team

RICHMOND,Va. — Spiders graduate student Lou Baker is one of five golfers on the Atlantic 10's All-Academic Men's Golf Team, the conference announced Thursday.
Baker earned his Master's of Liberal Arts degree while competing for the Spiders this season. On the course, he averaged 72.83 strokes over 23 competitive rounds, the ninth-lowest single-season stroke average in program history. Baker carded five top-20 finishes and earned All-Atlantic 10 honors for the second time in his career. Baker completed his eligibility with a career scoring average of 73.84 strokes, fifth best in Spiders history.
This is Baker's second All-Academic A-10 selection, along with 2021. He is the third different Spider to earn A-10 All-Academic honors twice, joining David Germann (2014-15) and Jordan Utley (2007-08).
