Yingling Named National Photographer of the Year

LAS VEGAS — Richmond's Malloreigh Yingling was named National Photographer of the Year by College Sports Communicators on the final day of the organization's annual convention Wednesday. Yingling, who has served as Assistant Director of Athletics Public Relations at Richmond since January 2023, was named one of three finalists for the award last month.
In addition to serving as the sports information director for women's lacrosse, swimming & diving, cross-country, and women's track & field and the secondary PR contact for football, Yingling provides video and photography services for many Spider sports. She submitted a portfolio of images she captured during the 2023-24 school year to CSC, the national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics, in support of her nomination.
Yingling came to Richmond following two years as a social media manager and communications assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor's degree from IUP in 2021 and her master's degree in 2023.
