RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond was one of 59 Division I men's golf teams to receive Presidents Special Recognition for having a team GPA of 3.5 or higher from the Golf Coaches Association of America Tuesday. 2024 is the fifth straight year the Spiders have earned Presidents Special Recognition from the GCAA, extending a program record. That includes 2021, when Richmond was crowned Academic National Champions for recording the highest GPA of any men's college team.

Richmond is one of three Atlantic 10 teams to receive Presidents Special Recognition, along with Loyola Chicago and Rhode Island.
