Behind The Web Season Premiere Thursday Noon-1pm At Bar West And Live on 106.1 ESPN

A new location just a touchdown pass away from Robins Stadium, Bar West, 5811 Grove Avenue, will host the weekly football radio show with Coach Russ Huesman. The live program will air Thursdays from Noon-1pm beginning this Thursday September 5 on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com. Junior running back Zach Palmer-Smith will be the special player guest.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, player guests and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying the full food and drink menu at Bar West, including their "Build Your Trio" lunch special. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.Â

Palmer-Smith, a transfer from Wagner, led the Spiders with 76 yards rushing on seven carries in his Richmond debut Saturday at Virginia, including an 18-yard run on his first carry and a 43-yard run later in the fourth quarter.
Behind The Web will be held throughout the college football season on 12 consecutive Thursdays, including the Spiders' bye week. The program will be archived on richmondspiders.com and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com for on demand listening.
