Galloway started all 13 games and was named Third Team All-CAA. He finished second on the team in tackles with 78, including 41 solo stops. He recorded 8.5 tackles for loss, totaling 49 yards, with 4.0 sacks accounting for 40 yards. He added an interception, three pass breakups, and four quarterback hurries. In the season opener against Wofford on Sept. 7 he added two points with a safety. He was also recognized for his community efforts, earning a spot on the AFCA Allstate Good Works Team. Heading into the season, he was named Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention and was selected Second Team Preseason All-CAA by Phil Steele.
Galloway accomplished all of this while pursuing a degree in Health Studies. He has been accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, where he will continue his education to become a chiropractor.

Galloway Honored As FCS ADA Academic All-Star

Richmond, Va. — University of Richmond linebacker Wayne Galloway has been honored as one of the nation's best and brightest as a Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star.
Football players from all FCS institutions are eligible for the award. Each nominee was required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate or graduate study and have been a starter or key player with legitimate athletics credentials. They must have reached their second year of athletics and academic standing at the nominated institution and have completed a minimum of one full academic year at the nominated institution. They also must have participated in 50 percent of the games played at their designated position.
Galloway earns the All-Star title after a redshirt senior season where he captained the Spiders to a ten-game win streak, a second consecutive Coastal Athletic Association championship and a third-straight trip to the FCS Playoffs.
