Richmond Announces 2025-26 Swim and Dive Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – Head coach Matt Barany announced Richmond's 2025-2026 swim and dive schedule. The Spiders open the season on the road on Oct. 17 at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.Â

The Spiders will kick off the 2025-26 campaign at the Richmond Duals Oct. 17-18 in Hampton, Va., at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex. Richmond will compete against Atlantic 10 opponents, Davidson, Duquesne and George Mason. On Friday, the meet begins at 5 p.m. and on Saturday it starts at 10 a.m.

After nearly a three-week break, Richmond will travel to Baltimore, Md., and face Loyola on Nov. 7.Â

Rounding out November, the Spiders will head to Northern Virginia for the annual Patriot Invite, held Nov. 19-22 at the Aquatic and Fitness Center. Opening night relays begin at 5 p.m., while prelims begin at 10 a.m., diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. for the following three days.

In December, Richmond travels south to Sarasota, Fla., for its only meet of the month. The Spiders will compete in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Open Water Nationals, beginning at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13.Â

In the new year, the Spiders return to the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex to face William & Mary. Old Dominion and East Carolina on Jan. 9 at 4 p.m.

UR heads to Philadelphia, Pa., for a dual against Villanova on Jan. 16. Diving begins at 11 a.m. followed by swim at 1 p.m.

The Spiders will host its only home meet of the season Jan. 23 against James Madison. Diving begins at 2 p.m., with swimming at 4 p.m. at the Robins Center Natatorium.Â
On Feb. 5-7, Richmond will travel to in-state foe, Virginia for the Cavalier Invite, for the final regular season meet of the year.Â

Heading into the postseason, the Spiders will return to the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex, for the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships, held Feb. 18-21Â

Following the A-10 Championships, Spider diving will look to qualify for NCAA Zone Diving scheduled for March 8-11 in Atlanta, Ga.Â

Select Spiders will also compete at the NIC Championships, hosted by CSCAA in Ocala, Fla., on March 12-14. Prelims begin at 9:30 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m.

The championship season concludes with the NCAA Championships, March 18-21 in Atlanta, Ga.Â
