Voice of the Spiders Bob Black and Director of Football Public Relations Christian Gravius caught up with "J5" to discuss his back-to-back 100-yard receiving games and touchdown receptions in the past three games. Plus there's a preview of the Capital Cup presented by C&F Bank, as Richmond and William & Mary prepare to meet for the 136th time, with the Spiders holding a two game advantage. The only player to score a touchdown in the Spiders 13-9 Family Day victory over Furman, Richmond sophomore tight end Carson Derey, is this week's guest. Carson relives his two touchdown receptions this season, including his first collegiate catch that went for a score in the season-opening victory over Bucknell. Derey, from Roanoke's Patrick Henry High, details his path to Richmond and the influence of his athletic-minded family. He grew up a Richmond Spiders fan, and now Spider fans are cheering for him. Warrick "Butter" Stephenson, from nearby Douglas Freeman High School, joins Bob and Christian on this week's podcast. A sophomore running back, "Butter" displayed grit and passion in his 14 carries at NC State, gaining 58 yards. He'll talk about his life-long desire to be a Spider, the experience at NC State, and of course, how he got the nickname "Butter."
