Wise Named Atlantic 10 Field Performer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond's Molly Wise was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Field Performer of the Week after opening the indoor season with a standout performance, winning the long jump at the Liberty Kickoff with a personal-best mark of 6.22 meters.

Wise, a Harrodsburg, Ky., native, broke her own program record of 6.15 meters with the jump. The mark places her first in the Atlantic 10 and fifth in Division I.

Her performance earned her the first Atlantic 10 weekly award of the season and the Spiders' first weekly honor of the year.
