
Molly Wise Named Atlantic 10 Co-Field Performer of the Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon. Among the award winners was junior Molly Wise.

A native of Harrodsburg, Ky., Wise was named the women's co-field performer of the week for the second time this season. After opening the weekend with a victorious performance, Wise placed first in the long jump with a mark of 6.05 meters at the Penn State National Open. Her mark in the long jump is second in the conference and ranks 10th in the IC4A/ECAC rankings.

Wise has had a tremendous season thus far, as she won the long jump at the Liberty Kickoff meet in early December and had a record-breaking day at the Brant-Tolsma Invitational in late January. At the Brant-Tolsma Invitational, she jumped a personal-best mark of 6.15 meters, breaking the school record. Wise broke the previous school record of 6.13 meters set by Alicia Dawson last season.Â
