TODAY! Senior Captain Scott Hummel Joins Coach Huesman On Behind The Web At Bar West Thurday Noon-1pm

Veteran offensive lineman Scott Hummel is set to appear at Bar West, 5811 Grove Avenue, for this Thursday's edition of Behind The Web with head coach Russ Huesman. The weekly Richmond football radio show airs live from Noon-1pm on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.Â
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, player guests and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying the full food and drink menu at Bar West, including their "Build Your Trio" lunch special. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.Â

Hummel anchors an offensive line that helped the Spiders gain 541 total yards in Saturday's home opener victory over state rival VMI. Running backs Jamaal Brown (153 yards) and Andrew King (100 yards) led the offense to 353 yards rushing. Hummel, a senior in his third season at Richmond after transferring from James Madison, has played 31 games for the Spiders, 19 as a starter, with 14 consecutive games started.
