Swimming and Diving Tabbed Second in A-10 Preseason Poll

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 announced its swimming and diving preseason poll on Wednesday, with Richmond picked to finished second.

Last year, the Spiders finished second at the A-10 Championships behind eight medal finishes, including four gold medal finishes in the 200-medley relay, 200-free relay, 400-free relay and the 50 free.
Richmond returns its top four scorers from the A-10 Championships: Lena Amare, Gabbie Primiano, Presley Baber and Katie Chignell.

George Washington was picked as the preseason favorite, earning seven of the 10 possible first-place votes. Richmond received two first-place votes and finished second in total points behind GW's 97.
