Wise Wins Long Jump, Spiders Post Personal-Best Times

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The University of Richmond women's track and field team competed at the Penn State National Open on Friday, highlighted by a victory from Molly Wise in the long jump.

For the fifth consecutive meet this season, Wise won the long jump with a mark of 6.18 meters.

Brooke Reif finished 11th in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:50.02.

In the 800-meter run, Caroline Donohoe posted a season-best time of 2:08.63. Ashley Bolesh finished 28th with a time of 2:17.07.

Gabrielle Cummings recorded a season-best time of 7.84 in the 60-meter dash.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Other members of the University of Richmond women's track and field team and members of the men's cross country team competed at the Patriot Games Friday evening.

 Estella Bruneau finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a personal-best time of 17:45.40.

Running unattached in the 5,000 meters, Brady Barber finished eighth with a time of 14:56.59. Patrick Doherty placed 19th in 15:28.98, followed by Zachary Stevens in 15:32.96. Jason Latina finished 26th with a time of 15:41.15.

The Spiders return to action Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Penn State National Open and at 10 a.m. at the Patriot Games.
