Primiano Named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week

Richmond, Va. — University of Richmond Swimming and Diving's Gabbie Primiano was named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week, announced Tuesday.
Primiano recorded six top-five individual finishes across the Richmond Invitational and Richmond Duals last weekend, including three event victories. She swept the 200-yard breaststroke over the two-day competition, winning Friday in 2:18.76 and Saturday in 2:18.98. Primiano also captured Friday's 50 breaststroke in 29.65 seconds and placed second in Saturday's 100 breaststroke (1:05.10). She added a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM and a fifth-place finish in the 400 IM.
Primiano and the Spiders return to competition Friday, Oct. 23, when the Spiders travel to New York to face Fordham at 4 p.m.
