ACC Network Extra Announced as Streaming Partner for No. 2 Richmond vs. No. 1 Notre Dame
03/25/2026 | Men's Lacrosse
Richmond, Va. – It was announced Wednesday that the Saturday, April 4 men's lacrosse game between No. 2 Richmond and No. 1 Notre Dame, which previously did not have a designated broadcast or streaming partner, will now be carried on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) via the ESPN App.
The game is part of Lacrosse Day in Chicago hosted by Northwestern, and will be played at 12:30 p.m. ET at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. The matchup is part of a doubleheader that also features a women's lacrosse contest between No. 12 Northwestern and Southern California.
ACCNX is a streaming-only platform for games not carried on the linear ACC Network. Fans can watch by logging into the ESPN App or ESPN.com with credentials from a TV provider (cable, satellite, or streaming) that includes ACC Network, such as YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, or DIRECTV. ESPN+ alone does not provide access to ACCNX. Broadcast talent for the ACCNX stream will be announced at a later date.
The 8–0 No. 2 Spiders (427 points) narrowly trail the 6–0 No. 1 Fighting Irish (426 points) in this week's Inside Lacrosse poll, with Richmond receiving one fewer first-place vote. Notre Dame collected 11 first-place votes, while the Spiders earned 10, with Harvard receiving the remaining vote.
Richmond, winners of 17 of its last 18 games and one of five undefeated teams remaining in the country (alongside Notre Dame), looks to continue the best start in program history this weekend when it hosts Hobart. The Spiders can extend their winning streak to nine games, matching the program record set last season. Meanwhile, Notre Dame travels to Charlottesville to face Virginia on Saturday.
