Spiders Set for 2026 Spring Game Saturday at Robins Stadium

Richmond, Va. – The University of Richmond football team will host its annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 11 at 4:00 p.m. at Robins Stadium. Admission is free and open to the public.
Fans will get their first look at the 2026 Spiders, which feature five returning All-Patriot League selections. The Spring Game will be played in 12-minute quarters with a running clock and a five-minute halftime.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the Family Fun Zone on Lessing Plaza, which opens at 3:00 p.m. and includes inflatables, giant games, face painting and a balloon artist.
The Spiders Kids Club Helmet Walk will begin at 3:15 p.m. at Spider Rock on Lessing Plaza. Kids in attendance can walk the Spiders to the field and carry their helmets. All children ages 12 and younger interested in participating should meet at Spider Rock by 3:10 p.m.
Following the game, the Gus Lee Winter Warrior Award will be presented to the team member who made the greatest strides during offseason workouts, and the 2026 team captains will also be announced.
Fans are invited to return to Lessing Plaza after the game for an autograph session with the team, where they will receive a 2026 promotional schedule poster.
The Spiders will host six games at Robins Stadium in 2026, including five Patriot League matchups against Bucknell (Aug. 29), Georgetown (Sept. 19), Colgate (Oct. 24 – Homecoming), Lehigh (Nov. 14) and league newcomer William & Mary (Nov. 21 – Capital Cup Presented By C&F Bank). Richmond will also host former Southern Conference rival Furman on Sept. 26 during Family Weekend.
Ticket office staff will be available on Lessing Plaza starting at 3:00 p.m. to assist fans with renewals or discuss ticket options for the 2026 season. Football renewals are ongoing, and fans can place a $50 deposit to be contacted by a ticket office representative at a later date regarding seat selections.
Single-game tickets will go on sale later this summer, with updates to be shared by University of Richmond Athletics.
