Behind The Web Welcomes QB Ashten Snelsire Thursday Noon-1pm At Bar West & Live On 106.1 ESPN

Fifth-year quarterback and captain Ashten Snelsire will be the player guest this Thursday, Sept. 24 on Behind The Web with head coach Russ Huesman at Bar West, 5811 Grove Avenue from Noon-1pm. The weekly Richmond football radio show airs live on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football with Coach Huesman, player guests and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, while also enjoying the full food and drink menu at Bar West, including their Build Your Trio lunch special. Snelsire is coming off a career-high 29 completions and 322 yards passing in Saturday's dramatic Patriot League victory over Georgetown, improving the Spiders record to 3-1, 2-0. Snelsire completed passes for first downs on 3rd and 21 and 3rd and 10 to keep the game-winning drive alive, setting the stage for freshman kicker Kyle Bitsko's walk-off 49 yard field goal. It was Snelsire's fourth 4th quarter game-winning drive in the past two years.
Behind The Web will be held throughout the college football season on 12 consecutive Thursdays at Bar West. The program will be archived on richmondspiders.com for on demand listening.
